CHALLENGE
The Amway Artistry Studio in the California Business Center is a chance for Amway Independent Business Owners (IBOs) to learn more about the products that they will soon be selling. The initial client ask was a simple “re-skin” of three existing displays in the studio room (the entry display to the room, a door to the facial analysis room, and an update to a product demo display) and add a photo opportunity on an empty wall. The ask was straightforward, but was it the right approach for this project?
ACTION
We proposed a plan that would tie each of these displays together into a more cohesive user experience, where the visitor was beckoned to the studio by a product showcase housed in a faux natural environment with a simulated live wall and stone accents. Next, the user would be prompted to enter a facial analysis room where they would learn what combination of Artistry products would work best for them. After being educated on their products, they would be able to test them on their own face using an interactive vanity mirror, powered by Artistry’s makeup app. Finally, they would be able to pose for a selfie in front of a photo opp wall, that would coordinate with the current series of products they just virtually sampled.
RESULT
The end product was a cohesive user experience for IBOs that was educational, fun, and memorable.
