Project Overview

In 2015, Goodyear continued its rich tradition of celebrating its partnership with NASCAR by creating a dynamic driver poster. This year's theme captured the intensity and excitement of racing, showcasing drivers emerging triumphantly from a cloud of tire burnout—a perfect representation of the power, speed, and energy synonymous with the sport.

Creative Process

The vision for this project was clear: bring the adrenaline of the track to life. Each driver was photographed individually, capturing their unique personalities and confidence as champions of the sport. The challenge was to seamlessly merge these individual portraits into a unified, electrifying scene that mirrored the thrill of race day.

Through meticulous attention to detail, the design team worked to replicate the realism and drama of a burnout environment. Smoke, light, and shadow were carefully layered during post-production, creating a sense of motion and energy that leaps off the page.

Outcome

The final result was a visually stunning tribute to the drivers and the sport itself. This poster became a standout piece of Goodyear’s marketing efforts, resonating with fans and reinforcing Goodyear’s status as the trusted name in racing tires.
