To celebrate Ditech’s entry into the world of motorsports, we were asked to develop a promotion that would help announce the partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing and Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. In response, we developed an online contest called “Home Sweet Loan,” where winners could have a portion of their mortgages paid, and its accompanying microsite. The responsive site was built to accommodate the two different ways to enter the promotion, with a photo contest being one way and daily sweepstakes being the other.
The photo contest engaged participants’ creativity, inviting them to create photo opportunities with a virtual Kevin Harvick to help persuade judges to choose them in their quest for their dream home. During the course of the contest, Kevin released a series of videos on Ditech’s site, cheering on contestants before he and the other judges chose the winners.
